There was this thing called something like Kent Goulding's International Backgammon Rankings and it was very good ranking system ( lots of tournaments and lots of years ) but some years ago all basic information were lost due to pc nervous breakdown . Since then they have tried to build the system up again and have added some information from some tournaments but i think it is in ice right now for some reason i don't know . Maybe it is because lack of people doing it ? Same time some part of the old information of some players was lost too so the list what is up now is not very valid ( not enough of information added ). So if there is somebody who is willing and can do the basic work ........ I think it would be very good for the whole backgammon society if that ranking system will be up again some day , the sooner the better .
