The table above is the matrix of the links to the match equity charts for different match scores.

The numbers on the left side of the table represent your (or the first player's) normalized match score, that is, the point you need to win the match. The numbers on the top (and the bottom) of the table represent your opponent's (or the second player's) normalized score. For example, if you are playing a 7 point match, and your current score is 2, then your normalized match score is 5, or 5 away (from the match point 7).

Click a cube action symbol (e.g. ) to open charts for the match score you would like to see. Meanings of the cube action symbols are as follows:

Symbol Meaning Symbol Meaning
: Double to 2 (initial double) : Take/pass 2 cube
: Re-double to 4 : Take/pass 4 cube
: Re-double to 8 : Take/pass 8 cube
: Re-double to 16 : Take/pass 16 cube

Each chart shows "gains" and "risks" for each possible cube action in that match score from your (or the first player's) point of view.

Legend in a chart

Symbol Definition
Gain by a single win (no gammon). Length of the arrow represents the amount of match equity (winning chance) gain in %.
Extra gain by a gammon win. It may also include extra gain by a redoubled win.
Extra potential gain by a gammon win after the player currently being doubled doubles again to the next level of the cube later in the same game. [Example]
Gain by a single win, only in a last roll situation in which the player currently being doubled has no chance to redouble in the future. [Example]
Risk by a single loss (no gammon). Length of the arrow represents the amount of match equity (winning chance) risk in %.
Extra risk by a gammon loss. It may also include extra risk by a redoubled loss.
Extra potential risk by a gammon loss after the player currently being doubled doubles again to the next level of the cube later in the same game. [Example]
Risk by a single loss, only in a last roll situation in which the player currently being doubled has no chance to redouble in the future. [Example]
The location of the original match score in the chart and the match score.
The location of a match score in the chart and the match score as a result of each type of win/loss.
