I learned a variation of normal backgammon rules and acey ducy when I was
at college.
My friends and I still play it 15 years later it is only way we play.
The game was called Mexican.
The basic rule were.
no more than 5 men on a row.
doubles roll again.
you have to move your low roll first,
you must take off exact, but you can move in the back court.
you must complete the roll if possible.
1 and 2 is called mexican. you get the one and the two
and any doubles you wish. (you must complete the roll to get the
doubles.)
Has anyone heard of this variation ?
