LongRun
This variation changes the initial layout of the checkers, bearing off, and
hitting from the standard Backgammon rules. It was created as the standard
layout seemed to have too many checkers already close to the home table.
This variant takes longer to play therefore we named it LongRun.
Layout: 5 checkers on your opponents first point
4 checkers on your opponents sixth point
4 checkers on your opponents twelfth point
2 checkers on your eighth point

Bearing Off: Can occur at any time during the game. Does not have to wait
until you have all your checkers in your home board.
Hitting: Each player must move without hitting another player unless there
are no other legal moves without hitting. This is an optional rule and
standard hitting rules can be used.
