Does anyone have experience with Dal Negro boards, specifically
leather with "pulsar inlay" (such as model 308)? Is the board worth
the money? And what is pulsar, anyway?

Patti Beadles  writes:

I have a Dal Negro board that I'm very happy with. It's not nearly as
nice as the (no longer made, I believe) Werner Dressen boards that
I've been lusting after for years, but it's quite nice.

I'm not sure what 'pulsar' is, but I have found the Dal Negro boards to be
very nice to play on - and good value for money.

hi,
I am from Italy. I bought, a couples of years ago, a wonderful leather
Dal Negro board (about 550 euro). The leather is unsticking from all the
outside corners and from the bar. The board is too heavy. The shop here
in Milano that used to sell only Dal Negro boards is not dealing with
them anymore, too many complaints from the customers. Now they sell only
a new brand of boards, manufactured in Italy for the French Federation.
