Several years ago Jim Pasko (who is about the best on unusual and
original propositions) and I at the end of a tournament stayed up all
night playing losing backgammon. The games are often quite long.
We did develop some interesting strategies for the game, and by the end
we could be considered world class experts on losing backgammon (not
that we hadn't already demonstrated that earlier during the tournament).
The game is moderately interesting when you first try it, but once you
get the hang of it it can get fairly boring. So give it a try if you
want some variation in your life.
